Knocking Down Barriers To Wealth

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

In a lot of ways building wealth requires you to first knock down the walls that have become an integral part of you. That is, to knock down the walls that have become barriers to you so that there is room for you to build a stronger foundation and overall structure.

Every one of us has something that impedes our financial success. Every one of us has things in our life—both psychological and more real, tangible barriers—that get in our way. These are things that we all have to overcome and move past, replacing the old with the new and the better.

First Step – Self Evaluation

The first step to doing this is to figure out what those barriers are. These could be very elusive things that we do not even know about ourselves—thoughts and attitudes that are ingrained in our psyche; subconscious attitudes (such as what we talked about when we discussed the financial subconscious). As Jamie McIntyre tells us these are very much individual thoughts, attitudes, and barriers, but there are several that are common amongst all people and so we can learn something about ourselves by learning from others like Jamie and other people pursuing financial prosperity.

There is very minimal success without first understanding that these hang-ups do exist and what they are. These barriers have a way of coming back to haunt you so recognizing them and working to overcome them is essential to your financial future.

Persistence Is Progress

The way to overcome these barriers is related to what the barriers are. For a great many of them rewiring your subconscious and your mindset and attitude is necessary. Moving through a wealth development program removes a lot of these barriers because so many are intertwined and inter-related. But regardless of what is holding you back know that you can surpass it and break those barriers down. You can overcome anything—physical, psychological, human, or theoretical—and you can be wealthy. With the recognition that there is work to be done and the persistence to see it through, every last barrier to wealth can and will be broken.

Elements Of Financial Empowerment: Power Of Attraction

Financial empowerment elements

Our recent posts have talked a lot about us being the company and the thoughts that we keep, and about attracting the elements of success to us that we need to succeed and be financially empowered…to build wealth. That power is the Power of Attraction. You’ll find this also by other names, depending on who you are reading and following, as things like the Law of Attraction, or even “The Secret”. It is this law that serves as the basis for the 21st Century Academy in many ways as well.

Attraction And Daily Life

The power of attraction is simple yet effective. To use it, all you really need to understand is that you will attract to you whatever you put out into the world. In other words, if you think positively and abundantly, and live a life of wealth and success, you will draw positive attitudes, thoughts, and people to you; you will draw abundance to you as well.

If you think negative thoughts, focus on the bad in life, on destitution and need, or the inequality in life, you will always draw those things to you; if you live a life of want, you will attract more want—you’ll attract people who also want and need, and you’ll attract more financial stress.

Many people are hesitant to believe that wealth creation can be so simple, but when you look at the lives of various individuals you can see that this is certainly true. If you look at your own life you can see how you attract to you the same things that you think and surround yourself with. Think about the times when you were most down—did it seem you could never get a break and that negativity seemed to follow you in all things? Now think about the times in your life when you felt you were doing well—did it seem more things went your way? That the bad times were limited, and easier to overcome?

You can start building wealth today just by adjusting what you attract to you. Apply the power of attraction to everything in your life—to your thoughts, your fiends and associations, to what you choose to read, learn, and follow. Be more positive and successful and you will be more positive and successful; and you’ll set the stage for easily attracting more of the same as you do.

Attracting Wealth Through Thought

Sunday, July 6th, 2008

Attracting wealth with positive thinking

You are the company you keep, and you are also the thoughts you think. Just as we talked about the company you keep attracting more of the same to you, the same applies to the thoughts that you think. This is the foundation that Jamie McIntyre built the 21st Century Academy on. It is also the foundation that leading self empowerment and wealth authors built their success upon—leaders as far back as Napoleon Hill with Think and Grow Rich.

Positive Thinking For Financial Success

This is very much in relation to the mindset that is so integral to wealth creation, but what I really want to drive home in this post is the power of each and every thought you think on a daily basis. Collectively they are what make up your mindset in combination with your attitude.

This post is also about attracting positive thought. Remember that when we talk about attraction as it applies to financial success, we talk about the like attracting like. When you think positively and think thoughts of wealth and success, you attract more thoughts of positivity and abundance. If you think thoughts of stress, financial want, deprivation or need, you attract more of the same. That can be a hard cycle to break as you work towards building wealth because most people do come into this with a level of need or want. But even those needs can be turned into something positive—the positivity of working towards your goals, the comfort of knowing this need is temporary and that overall you are living well and building wealth.

Starting today, I encourage you to start paying more attention to the thoughts that you think. You will not be free from negativity unless you make a conscious decision to turn your thoughts around. The good news is that once you begin to make that effort the whole thing gets easier. You’ll think more positively, you’ll expect life to be positive, and you’ll expect to succeed. And with every thought, you will attract more positive thinking.
