Do What You Want To Be
On order to have something you have to take the steps to get it, right? You have to take the actions that will allow you to obtain whatever it is you want to have. Without the action, there can be no result. So without the action of creating wealth, of doing things to create wealth, you will never have wealth.
Who You Are Determines What You Do
This ties into the last discussion regarding being who you want to be. There is an important reason why you have to be that person—a wealthy person. Because who you are determines the actions and steps you take in life. So if you are not a wealthy person, you will not take wealthy actions. And without taking wealthy actions, you cannot obtain wealth, correct?
Not many people would argue that the poor do things differently than the wealthy do. That is, in fact, one of the founding premises of the 21st Century Academy. It is one of the major points that Jamie McIntyre—and in fact many other financial experts, too—try to get across.
The rich do things differently
That is the major difference between the masses and the wealthy. We’ve said it so many times before—the rich make money work for them, they don’t work for money. But there are many other things that the wealthy do, too, and many actions that they take every day that nets their end result—that makes them wealthy, that gets them what they want to have.
The big point here is that poor or even middle class people do not take the same actions as the rich. Without wealthy action, there is no wealth. Logically, then, if you want to build wealth you need to take wealthy actions. But that is not something that a poor person does. So if you want to take wealthy action, you have to first be a person who can do that—you have to be wealthy so that you can have what a wealthy person has!
